G-Loc Brakes – Track-Ready Stopping Power for Your 2007-2014 Brembo-Package S197 Mustang
At Kenny Brown Performance, we believe every S197 — especially the Brembo-equipped GTs, Boss 302s, and GT500s — deserves brakes that match its potential. Whether you’re carving canyon roads, running time attack events, or just enjoying a perfectly balanced street machine, you need brakes that inspire total confidence. That’s why we offer G-Loc brake pads: developed by racers, for racers and enthusiasts who refuse to compromise on pedal feel, heat management, or control when it matters most.
Brake Pads That Raise the Bar
Install G-Loc brake pads on your Brembo-package S197 and experience the transformation: powerful, consistent stopping force, razor-sharp modulation, fast and clean release, and dramatically improved trail-braking precision into corners. These pads deliver aggressive initial bite, strong torque delivery, and exceptional fade resistance — making them an outstanding upgrade for aggressive street driving, autocross, or full track sessions.
Dive into the compound options below to select the exact performance profile that matches your driving demands.
Long-Lasting. Rotor-Friendly. Wallet-Smart
Many high-performance pads sacrifice rotor life and leave your wheels coated in corrosive, hard-to-clean dust. G-Loc pads are engineered smarter — providing up to 4x longer rotor and pad life compared to typical competitive performance compounds. The low-dust, non-corrosive formula keeps your wheels, calipers, and paint looking clean and protected far longer, so you spend less on frequent replacements and more time enjoying the car.
Key Features & Benefits
- Aggressive initial bite with powerful torque and outstanding fade resistance
- Up to 4x longer rotor and pad life versus competitive performance pads
- Superior modulation and quick, clean release characteristics

AVAILABLE FOR FRONT OR REAR CALIPERS
FIRST - CHOOSE FROM KENNY’S CHOICE BRAKE COMPOUNDS
NEXT - CHOOSE STANDARD OR PRE-BEDDED (RACE-READY)
LAST - ENJOY BETTER STOPPING POWER AND HEAT RANGE
PS-1 - Performance Street
The PS-1 is our high-performance street compound. PS-1 produces very little dust and very little noise while maintaining excellent initial bite and torque for street use. PS-1 has been unmatched in the industry for disc/rotor friendliness as well as its longevity. This compounds excellent performance on the street provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. PS-1 operating range starts at ambient up to 800°F (426°C). PS-1 is suitable for ALL street cars, tow vehicles, fleet vehicles, and armored vehicles. PS-1 is NOT recommended for ANY track use.
A6 - Autocross
The A6 has been specifically engineered for Autocross applications. An ultra-high cold torque compound delivering consistent performance from dead cold (0°F) up to 1000°F + (0°C to 537°C+). The advanced compound matrix provides an excellent initial bite, high coefficient of friction at lower temperatures along with very progressive brake modulation and release characteristics. The A6 compound is widely used for street use as well, but this compound will more than likely make noise on the street. Kenny does not recommend street driving on with A6 due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. A6 is NOT recommended for road racing (closed circuit) use in most applications.
T10R - Track Rear
The T10R compound still maintains our smooth release, excellent modulation, and rotor friendliness that have been engineered into all previous compounds. The T10R is excellent on the front or Rear matched with T10F on the Front. The compound leads the industry in disc/rotor friendliness. The T10R has a broad temperature range that begins at 118°F and a fade resistance is in excess of 1475°F (47°C – 801°C). Kenny does NOT recommend T10R for daily use on the street due to elevated levels of dust and noise.
T12F - Track Front
Raising the bar even higher is the RT2F compound with an excellent initial bite, high and consistent torque, and outstanding fade resistance over and above the T10R. T12F has a temperature range of 173°F to 1860°F (78°C to 1015°C). The T12F continues our excellent release and modulation that has been engineered into all previous compounds. The T12R is slightly more disc/rotor aggressive than T10R but more disc/rotor friendly compared to our competition. Kenny does NOT recommend T12F for daily use on the street due to elevated levels of dust and noise.
R16 - Race
The R16 is an extremely aggressive initial bite, linear torque curve, and excellent fade resistance compound from our lineup of R-Series compounds. The R16 is a natural progression of the extraordinarily successful R-Series line of compounds. R16 has a temperature range of 255°F to 2000°F (123°C to 1093°C). R16 maintains the philosophy of modulation and release that has been the foundation of all other R-Series compounds. Kenny does NOT recommend R16 for daily use on the street due to elevated levels of dust and noise and the amount of heat needed to work properly.
SR18 - Super Race
The SR18 is the pinnacle compound of the R-Series compounds. SR18 is based on the same successful principles and fundamentals that exist in all other R-Series formulations. SR18 has more initial bite, overall bite, and even more controllable torque. The SR18 offers the absolute most linear torque curve we have ever created. The thermal characteristics and coefficient of friction are of the highest offered by anyone in the braking industry. This revolutionary compound will lead the way in all major forms of racing (professionally and grassroots). SR18 has a temperature range of 610°F to 2100°F+ (321°C to 1149°C+). Kenny does NOT recommend SR18 for daily use on the street due to elevated levels of dust and noise and the amount of heat needed to work properly.
