Kenny has a fresh set of JRZ RS ONE coil-overs for a customer's S197 Mustang to show off. In this tech video, he goes over the basics of how he custom tailors special-built shocks from JRZ using springs designed just for the car along with the tiny little details that go into the assemblies.
Kenny talks tech on the difference in the 1999-2004 Mustang Cobra IRS rear differentials, gears, and axles. Basically, the live axle and IRS differentials are the same, and so are the ring and pinion gears. Be careful though, the axle is not, so be sure you have the right differential to match the spline on the axles.
Factory cast aluminum wheels are heavy, not up to the task of driving hard on track, and they suffer from heat fatigue. Invest in a high-quality flow-formed or forged aluminum racing wheel to reduce weight and add the extra strength you need to run max performance, DOT racing, or full-blown slicks.
In this tech video, Kenny gives you a good overview of his Extreme Matrix Chassis Support System for the First Gen 1964-1973 Mustangs. This is the same system Kenny has been using for years on the 1979-2014 Mustangs and is the pinnacle of under-car support.
Are you digging inside your Ford modular engine or adding more power via a supercharger or turbo system? You need to replace the oil pump gear with a nice billet steel piece. In fact, if you even take the front cover off the engine, do it just as protection. In this tech video, Kenny explains the importance of this and provides further insight on why you should do it.
